I recently managed to corrupt something on my ipod by using third party software called ipod2ipod. When i turned it back on it said no music. but when i went to extras there was only 300mb remaining?! All the music was still on my ipod, but it was changed to "other" rather than music, playlists etc.
I've backed up the contents by using the back up tool in windows. And also backed it up by enabling hidden files and dragging all the data on to my external hard drive manually.
I've followed instructions from a few different forums etc, but every time i finish the restore process, it's the same thing. All the room is taken up, but displayed as "other'' and unusable. Any help would be very much appreciated.
P.s is there a way i can restore my playlists? There was a playlist myself and my family created together for my Grandfathers funeral service that is quite near and dear to all of us!
