I have just bought a new computer. I need to do 2 things, get Itunes onto it and then sync my Ipad2 to it which was previously synced to my old computer. The Itunes library on my old computer was in a right mess so I want to start from scratch with Itunes. I have all my MP3s in a separate folder from my Itunes library on my old computer.
My first question is - do I copy the MP3s from the old to the new computer or do I install Itunes first or does it not matter? I have the new laptop partitioned so that I have a smaller C Drive for software etc and a larger D drive for data so would want the music folder to be on the D drive.
If someone could help me with pointers on how to get started I would be very grateful. Thanks.
