The other day, iTunes (Vsn 10.5.2.11,Windows 7) suddenly demanded that I either choose a library of make a new one. I could not find my old library, so I made another one. I then imported all my music, as a folder, into the new library.
However, nearly all the tracks have lost all data except the track name. Artist, EQ, etc are all gone. The only ones that have retained them are ones that I either bought as, or converted to, mp3.
When I ripped the CDs, iTunes would go online and get all details from an oinline database. I can't seem to do that any more.
How do I try better to find my old library? Is there a way to re-establish an old library? Is ther a way to go online as before and get the info for songs?Any help greatly appreciated.
