Hi, I believe I am the most inept when it comes to this and the problem may not be all in the itunes per se as I might have done something in my computer and I have not been able to get any assist from Apple as I do not know my serial number that is valid to them so I cannot connect.
I have 793 songs on my itunes and have been accessing them for years and just yesterday I loaded some songs onto itunes not from itunes and these are out there but all other songs I cannot play even though they show on itunes library. (Cannot locate file). Somehow or other my PC has set up a file in C drive that is listed as VALUED CUSTOMER and that is what my PC now is listed as user and I see Itunes is listed under that file but that file I believe has been deleted.
I rest my PC to an earlier date to no avail and would like to get the itunes file to function but am at a complete loss.
When I go into my computer - my docs - my music - there is no file/folder listing Valued Customer and no music in the my music folder. Can I get this back by connecting my ipod to the PC and transfer back the file. I don't want to lose the music on my ipod........Thanks I hope.
