My daughter has an iPod Touch 4. The battery runs out very quickly. We took it to the Apple Store and they said the battery is fine but there was bug that was causing the battery to drain faster than normal. The guy said that she would have to wipe all her data and re-install the OS in order to get rid of the bug. She is very reluctant to wipe her data. Is there a way to transfer her data to another device, wipe the iPod, re-install the OS, and then transfer back the data? The Apple guy said the bug was in the data, so doing that would move the bug with it. Anyway, I'm trying to solve the problem without wiping the data.
Any help or suggestions is appreciated.
