On the 15th of August I received an itunes gift card with a balance of $100 from a reputable seller. I resold the gift card on the 20th. I later received a message from the buyer saying the card had already been redeemed. After talking with iTunes, they said the card was redeemed on the 18th. When I received the card, it had not been tampered with in any way, the activation code cover was pristine and had not been scuffed or peeled. I live by myself and keep my card in a safe. After checking my calendar, on the 18th I was not home, however I am the only one with the code to the safe and nothing was stolen from my home or anything. Itunes also said that it was not redeemed by the person who sold it to me or by the person I sold it to, nor by me. What do I do?? The card was not redeemed by any of the parties involved and Apple will not tell me who redeemed it, and whoever did was the one who scammed me! If I open a case there is no way I would win! All eBay would say is that it was redeemed during my possession and thats that. Please help me figure something out. Apple knows who redeemed it but I have no way of finding out! Does eBay and Apple have any sort of system set up to help each other out in Apple related dispute cases? I do not want to contact law enforcement because they wont care at all, yet they are the only ones iTunes would provide that information to. I asked apple if they could contact the redeemer of the card and ask them if it is okay to release that information, but they wont! Could someone using one of those new random number generating apps that supposedly find iTunes card numbers using a certain algorithm have found my activation code? PLEASE HELP!! I have no idea what to do. Any Ideas??
