Had Enough...

For 3 days I have tried everything but throwing this thing out the window to get the restore to fix. I had no issues or problems with my touch until I plugged it into my puter 3 days ago to add some new songs. Now, I'm stuck in restore hell. There is no errors. It gets part of the way through, and then nothing. I've listened to all those stupid kids on youtube and tried any tutorial I could to fix this and at this point I'm really ready to just chuck this thing out my nearest window into a garbage bin. Has anyone else had this happen? And is it fixable?



Also, if you reply to this... yes, I'm sure searching this forum for days would help me to find the answer, but some of us have jobs. (this was an issue for some on another forum, just getting that out of the way now). Yes, I am old. Thank you. I don't understand anything you say, so talk like I know nothing. It will save all of us time.



Now. Things I have tried...

reboot, both computer and a total re-instal of itunes.

some strange program called tinyumbrella

tried the DFU thing a few times

listened to kids on youtube and/or adults that I couldn't understand

read a million tutorials and haven't understood a one.



Also... just a side comment... a "jailbreak" to me means someone digging into a sewer line, dragging himself through someone else's poop with a shank clenched his teeth to escape Attica prison during the riots.



Like I said... talk to me like I know nothing. It'll be easier.
