Help Please

I have an Ipod Nano Silver 2GB Model Number A477. When I connect to ITunes via my PC it showes the Ipod connected however when I try to open it the Ipod sign disaperas and I can only get it back by reconnecting the Ipod to the PC. As a result I cannot sync my Ipod witb ITunes.

I have the up to date Itunes programme and have reset the Ipod serveral times.



Can anyone help to getr it working correctly again please
